Harnessing the power of Moringa Oleifera for lasting transformations
The Morigin Project offers an organizational system focused on the cultivation of Moringa trees in rural villages in Sub-Saharan Africa with the goal of supporting populations toward the development of health, social and economic conditions.
Moringa Oleifera
"The Miracle tree"

Beud Dieng, Senegal
Thanks to the collaboration with the socio-cultural association Sunugal and a fundraising on GoFundMe, we have created a network of contacts in the area of Beud Dieng in Senegal and allowed us to take the first steps.
Multiple workshops were held on the social, health and economic benefits of the plant through the use of two different specific manuals: one concercing all the activities to harness the plants and the other one on the water depuration processes.
Mody Diop, Morigin local collaborateur
Up until now more than 1600 plants have been planted and some of them have been assigned to different local families to have closer updates and support.
This project is a great interdisciplinary collaboration and activity to improve life, working conditions and nature. It shows what design can initiate and do.
